Busy Week

Last week was crazy busy at work.  The start of the week we had last minute details to work out for a retirement party.  Three people from our area are all retiring this summer and we decided to do one big drop-in party for them all.

It went really well, everyone had a good time and there was cake!  And left-over food for three days lol

Thursday saw my supervisor bid farewell to the craziness that is work and start her well earned retirement. Needless to say, emotions were running high as she departed after working in our library for just over thirty years.  For long-time readers, this is the co-worker Dani and I stitched Earthdancer for.  She will be receiving the completed piece next month.

I'm afraid stitching took a bit of a back seat as I worked on party stuff and then wrapping everything up.

I have started a retirement gift for second co-worker who retires next month.... I will share that later this week.
