Here we are in June and I didn't get a last post done in May to show off all the stitching progress I made.
So to start off June here is what happened in May since last time
I finished Lorelei Lamb by Just Nan
I did this one on 32 count lugana instead of linen
I managed to finish frogging Blackstone Fantasy Garden by Ink Circles and then made some good progress on the green border
I did a little on Tour - which is so hard to see over one on 25 count
And I did a little bit on Serenity Prayer version 2
I am also having a debate on this one - the pattern is actually two colours - there are some flowers coming up and I am trying to decide if I should do the piece all in one colour or use B5000 (bright white) for the flowers.... must decide soon
I also did some work on my genealogy project which took much longer than I was thinking it would. I made some really good progress though, although having ancestors with super common names is so frustrating.

Make it epic
I was told that this post should be epic....
I don't know why - it's only the 1000th post to the blog.
I declare this post to be epic just because it is number 1000 - and I have posted twice this month :P
I have stitching progress to share...
A finish

A journey
I am oh so close to being all the way around - it's my goal to finish the ivy this week

It's too hot to think of a post title
Summer decided that it wants to start early here. On the weekend it felt like the middle of July.... and I haven't gotten any of my summer clothes out so I went and spent most of Saturday at the movies seeing Captain America :)
I have managed to get a little stitching done.
I finished the stitching part of the latest Just Nan limited edition critter
I started Winter tree silhouette. I am almost finished the first page; it is one over one on 25 count.
I also have been making some progress on Teresa Wentzler's Fortunate Traveller.

Death & Glory
Welcome to a kitchen sink post.
The last week or so has been busy. At work last week I was the only one in; everyone else was off enjoying hard earned holiday. Holidays mean that for about three weeks I have some additional areas to cover so crazy busy.
I did sneak a day off on Friday and Dani and I went to the Canadian War Museum to see Death & Glory, an exhibit on Gladiators and the Colosseum. I had not been to the museum yet so we have a tour of the other exhibits as well. Once we were done there we went for pedicures - a first for me. Yes, I know- sad.
Saturday was a lovely day. I meet with friends for a late breakfast then Dani, Bonnie and I spent the day visiting and stitching. A great way to spend my birthday.
July Goals
Finish remaining Jingles YES!! Stitch an ornament Do the Jingle count? Work on stash zone Yes- though still much to do Figure out projects I thought about --decisions not so much
August Goal
Stitch an ornament
Work on Fortunate traveller

Yes - you read that correctly -- I stitched on linen. I might still be in shock.
And I have added to the green in FT's border.
I also did some on Serenity Prayer but not enough to share.
