Exhausting but...

oh so fun...

This weekend was the annual Knowledge & Needles Retreat.

Friday I packed everything up and headed off to meet Dani and we made our way as far as Kingston for the night. The parents were wonderful and let me take over their kitchen to make the goodies I was bringing. Dad was extra nice and taste tested everything. I know, the sacrifice!! It was much easier to transport everything that way....

Saturday morning Dani and Beth picked me up on their way and we were off to Ann's. See Dani's blog for a wonderful group shot she did of all us. It was a wonderful day of stitching, visiting and eating.

Ann set up a display spot in the garage and here is some of the wonderful work.

I picked up a bit of stash while I was there. I had a gift certificate to spend so I decided to pick up a few fabrics as well as a few other things; the little bear might have to be next on the start list...

Sunday morning we had a wonderful breakfast made by Dan, yummy. Thank you Dan!

After a morning of stitching was time to pack up the car and start the trip home. Dani and I decided to spend the evening with my parents and come the rest of the way this morning.

Thanks for the wonderful time Ann.

Here is my progress on Slowpoke. I had to unstitch a bit of rayon but not too bad...
