The week has sped by hasn’t it? There’s something about this time of year that makes the clock faster or it’s the fact that it gets dark so early?

Things have been interesting here as the Government has tried to stay in power – and has held off any changes until next year. A nail bitter for our normally tame politics.

On top of the federal going-ons, here in Ottawa we’re looking at a bus strike next week. Those who are long time readers of the blog you know that the bus is my number 1 form of transport. Panic. Deep Breath. How to get to work?? Oh yes, friendly co-worker lives not too far away and will give me a ride. Excellent, can go to work. Now must make sure all Christmas shopping is done in case I’m forced to carry and walk everything. Will be going tomorrow to finish.

Now you might be thinking that with all the craziness and panic that there was hardly any stitching going on. I’m happy to say that I’ve not only started the detested sparkly white on sparkly white but it’s at the half way point. The goal for this weekend is to get that finished. And my Christmas cards.

Now I’m off to get things organized for the morning so I can avoid most of the other people trying to get all their Christmas shopping done- in case the buses go on strike.
