First, the disappointing. As I mentioned, Dani, her Mum, Chrisanne and I had tickets to go and see The Police Thursday night.
I wasn't all that impressed with the show. Maybe having seen some kick a** shows I come to expect a certain something from artists. Especially artists that been around for awhile.
The over playing of what seemed to be every song didn't impress me, a few instrumental breaks are ok but enough. Dani has clearly laid out what we both thought on her blog.
For the not disappointing -- that was this morning. Dani and I met and went off to see the morning showing of Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr was awesome, I have to agree with the buzz that this will restart his career. Two thumbs up.
I also pulled out The Castle, put in some more back stitching and some castle wall. All those blank spaces are getting smaller....
Oh yes, someone asked what the fabric was. It's called Iris Garden from Silkweaver Fabrics. For some unknown reason I thought this time I'd stitch this piece on 32 ct.

I am so sorry that you were disappointed in the Police Concert. I had heard that Ironman was really good. Glad you enjoyed it. Gherkin is looking great. Keep it up.

Hmmm...to bad about the concert. I remember them being great many years ago. Some should stop while they're ahead.
