Stitching and Shopping

It's been a busy weekend.

Friday night after work Dani and I headed to the parents. We arrived just in time for dinner. Thanks Mom!

Saturday morning Dani headed into Kingston to help Ann at Cataraqui Guild's Needle Arts Fair. I spent the morning visiting instead.

In the afternoon Mom and I went into the show, where I found a few things to add to the stash pile. I'll share those in a few days.

I also got to see Kathy briefly, before she headed home.

I stayed to help Ann take down her display. Then Ann, her husband, Dani and I went for a nice early dinner and visit.

Later in the evening Dani and I went to visit with Rebecca. We had a good visit with her and her family.

And finally this morning after Dad made us breakfast (thanks Dad!!) Dani and I headed home.

This afternoon I spent under the close eye of Shadow who has so far refused to let me leave her sight. Cat naps not included.....

Congratulations to Beatrice on her retirement. Saturday was her last day. Enjoy all that stitching time!!

Oh yes, here is the progress on Gherkin. The rocks are pretty much done now. On to the wall and all that backstitching...

Thanks again for the flowers.

It was nice to see you Christin. Sorry it was so brief. Gherkin is coming along beautifully. I feel a Happy Dance soon!

What a great weekend you had! I'd hoped to make the show but ended up working instead. I could have used that SAL at Rebecca's!
Gherkin is looking great. It won't be long now before you can celebrate a finish!

I've just found your blog & have to tell you that I love the Dragon (Gherkin). What fabric are you stitching on?
