Mostly Filler

Tonight's blog is mostly filler.

I worked on Biker moose a bit tonight, after I finished making yet more cookies for yet another party (the second this week) at work.

I still haven't worked out a new rotation after I finished Guardian, I have a couple of thoughts on this. I'm tempted to replace Guardian with The Castle and get it finished. Or there are a couple of new projects that I've been thinking about starting. Decisions.....

Do you always sign your projects? If not, why? If so, do you use your first name, initials or what?

I don't sign my projects. If I frame the piece I sign the back of the frame but not the stitching. Why? I don't know, I guess it's because I don't see the point.

Inquiring minds want to know...what are the new projects you are contemplating?

Signing projects is like an artist signing a painting I guess. I use my initial.

I say finish the Castle and then find some project that is calling to you and enjoy. I sign all my pieces with my initials and the date (for future generations) I am an optimist LOL

I put my three intials on it as well as the year, usually somewhere with thread that is of a similar colour to the fabric so it kinda "blends" in.
